One Recipe. Two Plates.
Both Perfect.

Cook one meal. Eat different portions. CookTwo uses clinical-grade TDEE calculations to serve each partner the exact amount their body needs — from the same pot.

A real example, from the live app

Alex is building muscle. Jordan is losing weight and is vegan. Same kitchen, same pan — the AI plates one stir-fry two ways: chicken for Alex, tofu for Jordan, each with its own macros.

  • Alex's plate — ~700 cal, 52g protein. Larger chicken & rice portion for a caloric surplus.
  • Jordan's plate — ~430 cal, 28g protein. Tofu, extra vegetables, smaller rice portion for a deficit.
  • Allergen-safe. Meals are blocked server-side if they contain a partner's allergen or its cross-reactive derivatives.

How TDEE Calculation Works

CookTwo uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation — the gold standard in clinical nutrition — to calculate each partner's exact calorie needs.

1

Calculate BMR

Using the Mifflin-St Jeor equation: (10 × weight in kg) + (6.25 × height in cm) − (5 × age) − 161 (female) or + 5 (male)

2

Apply Activity Multiplier

BMR is multiplied by an activity factor ranging from 1.2 (sedentary) to 1.9 (very active), reflecting each partner's real lifestyle.

3

Adjust for Goal

A deficit for weight loss (−300–500 cal), maintenance, or surplus for muscle gain (+300–500 cal). Macros are then split based on the target — higher protein for building, balanced for losing.

How It Works

Three steps. No math required from you.

Set Body Profiles

Each partner enters their weight, height, age, activity level, and dietary goal. Takes 60 seconds.

AI Calculates Targets

Mifflin-St Jeor runs automatically. Each recipe gets split into two personalized portion sizes with macro breakdowns.

Personalized Plating

Same recipe, two plates. Each partner sees their portion size, macros, and plating instructions at a glance.

Why It Matters

The problem most couples don't realize they have. For the full method, read our complete guide to one meal, two plates.

No Separate Cooking

No more cooking two entirely different meals every night. One recipe, one cooking session, two personalized plates.

No Math

You don't calculate calories or macros. CookTwo handles all the nutrition math using clinical-grade formulas.

No Arguments

No more "you eat too much" or "that's not enough for me." Both plates are scientifically calibrated for each body.
